DESCRIPTION:Get the kids outside and on the water for a fun day of fishing\, competition\, and conservation! The Kids for Conservation Fishing Tournament is designed to introduce young anglers to the excitement of fishing while teaching them the importance of protecting South Carolina’s coastal resources for generations to come.\nGrab your fishing pole\, bring the family\, and get ready to make some memories on the water! Whether they’re seasoned young anglers or casting a line for the first time\, this tournament is all about having fun! Haddrell’s Point Tackle will be providing the bait and volunteers will be available to help with tackle. S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) staff will be on-site for the official weigh-in and will bring an observation tank for kids to get an up-close look at some of the species they may encounter on the water.\nCome for the fishing\, stay for the fun\, and leave with a greater appreciation for South Carolina’s coast!\nEntrants will receive a membership to CCA SC\, a bucket with tons of fishing goodies in it\, and a sweet tournament shirt! Sign up today as entries are limited!\nWe have some really cool different ways for anglers to win prizes! Let’s go fishing!
